The Boys in the Band
Fair is fair. After the “Girl Band” post below, I also need to show the other half of last night’s photo shoot. Both guys played guitar (one bass, one lead) and one also was a drummer. Really fun- they wailed away during each shooting session so the images would look authentic.

We took a break from the snow and cold to shoot in a recording studio here in Minneapolis. Krista, our production coordinator, pulled together 3 great models. One girl is a drummer in a band and one played piano. And the lead guitarist got a quick lesson from Justin- the awesome guy loaning us the space.
Lighting
Used 3 lights for the shoot- one softbox on each side of the set (slightly behind the models) and one mainlight. For color, we added a red gel on one softbox, and a green gel on the other side. Also filtered the main light to the warm side.
OK, I Couldn’t Resist…
No, I am not musically-inclined, not sure even how to hold a guitar, and only sing when I’m driving by myself on deserted roads. Maybe my next life I will be a rock & roll star…
