Who?
First of all, Ron Chapple Studios is way more than Ron. With 12 awesome people, the studio consists of an integrated production, editing and digital team.

Sara is our senior editor and primary digital guru. Shelly and Nicole lead a team of digital artists including Becca, Joann, Luke and Susan. Both Luke and Jessica wrangle all the necessary data details. Ron and Gray are the photographers. Every image is meticulously color-corrected and retouched to the highest industry standards. Krista, our full-time graphic designer, inspires us all with books, web sites and products. Becky, our financial manager, makes sure we maintain our financial integrity. With a never-ending investment in technology and 100% digital workflow, we deliver fresh and highly marketable images.
More about Ron:
Previously shooting fashion, people and a gazillion annual reports, Ron made the commitment to shoot stock exclusively in 1992. His client list includes Mastercard, VISA, Hilton, Microsoft, AT&T, United Airlines, Forbes, Money Magazine and Kodak. Applying the principles of solid research, careful pre-production, great models and digital imaging have been the keys to success.

Ron works out of the Maui studio. Flying 100,000+ miles a year, Ron travels from Hawaii to Europe, from the Pacific Northwest to Florida. And to New York, London, Lisbon, Paris, Rome and Sydney… all in search of perfect stock images.
Avoiding mediocrity at all costs and with a low threshhold for boredom, Ron and the RCS team continually explore new visual territory to create compelling imagery for their clients.

OK, hats off to you Ron and your amazing team ! I found you through Dreamstime (I am a member) and have been really impressed and inspired by your images. I love your blog as well, what fun to see you at work and see your projects…in brief, I am a huge fan !! Bravo ! Take care, Cathy.
Ron…
Congrats on launching this site! It’s fantastic and now I won’t have to be bothering you personally with my simple minded questions. You are definitely the “”king of stock”. I only wish you were shooting for Somos.
If you’re headed to Washington D.C. for PACA in a couple of weeks we can visit there. Take care and again………great job on this.

Well it seems like I have myself a competitor, and a good one as well. Welcome to microstock! Best regards, Yuri Arcurs (the number one selling microstocker in the world – not for long I fear)

Hello Ron,
I discovered your work just today and am already hooked on your photography. I really would like to add your site to my RSS reader, but the feed seems to be having problems. Can you have the designer/programmer fix RSS feed?
Thank you for such a wonderful work.
Hello Ron!
I have navigated through your blog and read every single word under an amazing feel if total ignorance! Thank you so much for bringing your life into mine!
Ever thought visiting north of Portugal?…
My very best wishes of continuous success, health and happiness!

hi ron, my name is carissa edwards and i did a photo shoot for a couple of hours at the birthing pools spring 20006 as “mud girl” hehe. i was wondering if theres anyway i could see some of those pictures, or have you email them to me, or even send a cd if i pay postage. i just had a baby girl 2 months ago, and it made me think of the freedom i felt there, and the beauty of the birthing pools, and what we captured, and im curious to how some turned out for my own keepsakes….please let me know if anything is possible, that would be wonderful, and i look forward to hearing from you. thank you so much, carissa
Hi Ron!
We love checking your website and keeping up with all of your travels and shoots!
Griffin, Henry and Margot are growing up and are really thriving!!! We looked at your photos of them on Corbis and boy does it bring back wonderful memories of our trip to Maui.
I have a question for you on photo equipment if you don’t mind. Jess is turning 40 (!) and is really enjoying photography as a hobby. He has a Canon Rebel XT with the kit lens, a macro lens, the Canon 50mm 1.4 lens and I am thinking about getting him the 28 - 300mm lens that you mention on your site as really liking. Is your lens a Canon or a different brand? Do you think this would be a good lens for Jess?
We hope you and your family are well. We hope you come on out to Seattle soon. If you do, we’d love to see you!
Best,
Rachael Bouma
